Default O2 sensor question

I have a 2010 with a check engine light that said the bank 1 O2 sensor was not functioning. Replaced the sensor and cleared the code but it came right back on with the same code. The wiring harness is intact and I cannot see any damage to the harness. I am at a bit of a loss, I am an old Porsche guy so not sure where to go... other than Honda, which I would rather not do. Any help is greatly appreciated.

low probability, but could it be a bad/faulty new O2 sensor?

welcome to the forum. if you used an aftermarket sensor, it may work for a short time but will always fail. need to use honda only sensor, same a trans fluid honda only.
