Default Prelude Questions

Hey wats up new member here, names Kasevich (KASS-A-VITCH) anyways im looking into buying my first car. Ive picked a 92-96 Prelude. I have had some knee problems my entire life and driving stick is a no can do. I want to know about upgrading an auto tranny? And about possible engine swaps, whats the best years? And any websites that deal with Hondas. Thanks.[8D]

Hey man......new member here too. Names Logan. Sux about your knee. But hey to the point.....I had a 1992 Prelude Si with the H23A1 motor in it. I would say, honestly man, if you are wanting to do the auto tranny upgrade.....and are wondering what motor to use.....I would stick with either the H23 or H22. I cannot tell you how much I loved that car. The H23 is COMPLETELY UNDERATED IN EVERY WAY. Everyone thinks that the H22 is the best motor. But I am tellin you, Ive raced H22 powered Preludes, and I have beaten them. (note: I only had intake, full 3' exhaust with no cat, short shifter, and some bosch platinum 4-way plugs.) But anyway, sorry for gettin off topic. In short, what Im sayin is, the H23 is GREAT, and so is the H22.....so stick with one of those. Because both are KILLER quick, and are considered HONDA's "big block 4-bangers". Hope all goes well, holla back if you have any more questions. Later man......

If you're going to swap, get the H22 or K20.
