About ready to throw in the towel with my 2001 300ex
This bike is about to be on it's way to the chop shop. The only reason its not is because its so much fun to ride when it's running...
It's ran great since I've owned it. I took it off of a guy who sold it for $500 cuz he couldn't figure out that the stator was bad. I put a new stator in her and she fired right up. Anywho, I was out riding the other day, I wrecked it, it started up just fine after the wreck, (and I mean I rolled this quad hard about 3x) and I continued to ride. I got the bike home no issues, and then I powerwashed it. BIG MISTAKE!!! Now I cannot get it to start at all. I will never powerwash another bike.
Here's what it's doing:
Nothing!! I turn on the key and then I hit the start button, nothing. I cannot even get an arc to the solenoid. I used to be able to take a screwdriver and arc start it but now it wont even do that. I bought a brand new battery, new ignition coil, new wiring harness, new solenoid, but I'm afraid I didn't wire the harness correctly. The fuse box goes to the solenoid correct? Any help here would be amazing! Thanks!
