Default 2015 CRV Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Hi, newbie here... The TPMS recently triggered on my 2015 CRV, although all tire pressures were normal. I found the manual's instructions for TPMS calibration, but they left a lot to be desired. I understand how to start calibration, but there is nothing beyond that in the instructions. If anybody is familiar with how to do this calibration, I'd appreciate your feedback -

1) Should the motor be running during calibration?
2) Sitting still or driving?
3) How long does it take?
4) How do I know when it's finished?

Thanks a bunch!

The function after selecting and starting is suppose to be automatic.

Thanks for the feedback. I guess that makes sense, but I assumed it needed power to do its thing, so it would have been nice to know when it was done. Maybe that's a bad assumption on my part.

Unfortunately, no other information is available.
You could be right but we just don't know.

My ‘15 has also been flashing the tire dummy light occasionally. I have attributed my issue to the less than level attitude of the vehicle being parked in the mountains these last 2 years. I find a nice level spot, idle and press and hold the TPMS button to recalibrate the system. I’m usually good for months at that point. Also required when rotating tires or after pulling a trailer.

Thanks. I'm a flat-lander, so I cannot blame it on hills. I did the calibrate procedure and so far it's good. It's only done it once for me, so hopefully, it was a fluke. Thanks again for the feedback.
