Default CEL flashing after replacing plugs

I have a 2017 CRV with the 1.5 and recently all the dash lights came on. They have randomly been coming on and going off all week, with the CEL occasionally flashing and it going into limp mode. I Tested alternator and battery, both were good. Scanned and found cyl 2 misfire. Decided to replace the plugs at 60,000 miles and see how it went. Cleared the codes and within 15 min the CEL was back on and flashing, but no other dash lights this time. I feel like every time it’s gone into limp mode I was coasting down a long hill in the town I live in.

My experience says the flashing CEL means the engine is being fed too much or too little gas which is then being passed onto the cat which can damage the cat. So, flashing CEL means possible damage to vehicle. This could be due to misfires or something else. Do not know. Wish you good luck in troubleshooting this one.

Fix the #2 misfire first. That may fix it all.
