CRV Driveshaft center support mount
1997 honda crv,
hello! I was removing the driveshaft and had an issue with the center support bearing mount. The welded tab broke inside where the bolt should bolt into on one side I grinded off the bolt and was going to retap but it is too thin of metal! What are my options? Do i have to cut the whole mount off and reweld a new tab? Or is their a easier solution to this issue? My friend suggested cutting a little bit off the side to fit a nut and wrench to just tighten it that way but that seems too much of a risk. What are your thoughts?
