Dust shield
In need of some advice...the cardboard shield under the wife's 2017 crv got tore up when she got a retread in the road ..Honda says 537 bucks from 1 guy and another guy said around 150 ...what gives?can a stupid piece of cardboard really cost 537 bucks or is guy number 2 giving me the wrong part ? Tia ..
That means there was someone's tore up tread on the road. Usually from a truck tire that has been retread (put new treads on the tire). Must have fallen off. His wife's 2017 had an encounter with the road hazard.
People can charge whatever they want for an item. It is up to the customer to be smart enough to know the value of things. But, yeah, over $500 for a piece of cardboard?? I would not bother to replace at this time. If you really want a replacement then search on line and ask for picture and confirm fitment.
