96 Passport with noisy sticky valve lifters. Two dealership said just live with it, that performance won't be hurt, just enbarassing noise. It sounds like a rattle at high revs, but runs great. I've been looking for some
magic lubricant, or voodoo incantation to eleviate this problem, but I must say it has run great this way for the past 5 years so I don't view it as much a mechanical prob as I do an annoyance.

Hey there bud you might want to try what is called Marvel Mystery Oil, you can find it most any where it is sold in a black and red can. If you can't find that then 1-2 ounces of plaintransmission fluid (dextron-mercon) shoulddo the same trick. Good luck!
