a/c compressor will not start
Hi All....First post
2010 Accord sedan....a/c compressor will not start, Tried the following
1.Adding Freon, car running a/c on, needle on gauge went all the way up? meaning from low...to good...to red...pinned at highest level. Tried this several times.
2.Replaced electrical (relay) in main fuse block in engine comp.
3.Checked all other relevant fuses....all ok.
Is there a way to check if voltage is present at the compressor input wire?
or am I missing something?

welcome to the forum. check the compressor electrical connections, wiggle the connections to see if it turns on the compressor. verify if you have voltage and good ground. you may need a wiring diagram to help. you can check to see if you have good ground and good power at the relay socket. also the 7 1/2 amp fuse if good. if you can put battery voltage to the power side of the compressor and it engages, you have and electrical problem. if you have power to the compressor and does not engage, the electro magnet does not engage. if you can find a u tube video on accord compressor trouble shooting, it will help a lot.

Thank You...
So, I can connect 12V from Batt directly to the electrical pin (male) on the compressor. I assume the ground is the compressor connection to the block, yes?
the 7.5 amp fuse was good. Many Thanks...I'll be on this tomorrow morning.

Edit: tried cleaning the connection at the compressor … no response
