Default Google Built In vs. Honda Connected Services

I do not want my 2025 Accord Touring Hybrid to share any of my driving experience with Honda. To this end I have disabled Honda Connected Services in my vehicle, to the maximum extent that I am able.

Currently, Google Built In is also disabled - I rely on my Android phone for Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play. I am considering enabling GBI, but I wonder if enabling GBI will make it possible for my vehicle to share my driving experience with Honda.

Are GBI and Honda Connected Services completely independent? Will enabling GBI enable any part of Honda Connected Services, and in particular, will Honda be able to receive my driving experience through GBI? Many thanks for your advice.

I'd be talking to the techs at the dealer.

I'm glad that dealers in your area understand these things. Where I am, all they know how to do is reinstall the software and "we'll see."
