Default HUD missing compass and directions

I've had my 2018 touring accord for just under two months. One of the HUD display modes showed a compass and streets/directions, in addition to my speed and the speed limit. Now the compass and streets/directions are missing. (I've cycled through all modes, so I know I'm looking at the right one.) Any idea why this info would suddenly disappear and how I can get it back?

welcome to the fourm. I don't know much of the HUD display modes, but since this is a new vehicle under warranty, get the dealer to check you out on why its missing and how to get it back. you don't want to void any warranty working it on your own, could be something simple.

Thank you! A couple weeks later my touchscreen froze up and subsequently rebooted itself. When it came back up, the HUD had all the information again. If it freezes up again I'll talk to Honda but it seems the HUD problem is solved. Thanks again.

We are having the same problem on a 2018 Accord Hybrid. Does anyone know if there is a way to force a reboot the touchscreen?

Disconnect the battery , wait a minute and reconnect.
