Default My Dads 2010 Mk9 Honda Accord (petrol) - LCD Display

Hi,

My dad has told me the LCD display in the instrument cluster has gone blank. Everything else works just the LCD display which shows the trip info is blank mileage etc). I've had reason to remove and send away for repair the cluster of an Audi TT before but the issue with this is I have no idea if it is just the screen in the cluster or something else. I really just want to sort it for my dad. I cant find anything specific about issues with this in the cluster and I don't know what the best course of action is or how to get the thing out. Most guides seem to be for earlier models where the cluster has a surround which simply pops off. My dad insists his does not have that so the removal (if needed) looks more involved.

Can anyone advise? Is it worth getting a replacement cluster? Or sending away for repair? and is anyone aware of any guides on getting it out.

2010 Honda Accord Estate Mk9 Petrol.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks

Leky
