Default Replace IAC on 2000 2.3 VTECH

I need to clean or replace IAC. It looks like it is attached to back side of intake manifold. How tough a job is it.

remove a couple coolant lines and unscrew a couple screws or bolts. just make sure if its a philips head screw you use the correct size or you will stripe them.

I can't get at it. Does anyone have a picture showing the exact location of IAC on this engine, 2000 LX, 2.3L V-TECH.

That was great a link and removed IAC no problem. When cleaning do you remove electronics or leave them attached.

Cleaned IAC, installed with new gasket but the problem returned. Engine rpms increase and decline. Anyone have any other ideas.

Replace the IAC... its a common issue in Honda's . Get one made in China for under $30.00 like I did … works perfect.
