Have a 2020 Honda CRV. At 20,000 km, brought in for oil change, maintenance code was on. SA said I need brake fluid change and rotors resurfaced. I said that's way too soon. I don't see anything wrong with the rotors and they are not making any noises.

Fast forward to 27,000 km back in for oil change and rear diff fluid (maintenance code). Was told need full brake service plus brake fluid.. 700.00

80% of my driving is to the mall and coffee shops within 2 to 3 km where I live. Who changes their brakes at 27K km. Then was told my brake fluid is a little low. Well why didn't you top it up on inspection.

 

Take it somewhere else. The fluid should not be added to. It lowers as the brake material wears down. That's normal. If it's to low means it's leaking somewhere. You do not need these things done.
