1.7l ex V-tec 112k mi
I'm about to have to put another transmission in it, this would be the second. The first time I busted a third gear synco and now its second gear that crunches every time i put it in gear. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any TSBs or related issues? am i the only one having this problem?

 

no you are not the only one having trans problems, the 01-03 have significant trans problems but most cost in the 65.00 range. There are auto trans with problems also. If you have a 5 speed, are you changing the fluid about each 30k miles? I have the dealership do this for me, and with 162k no problems. I will need to change my clutch soon due to a bad throwout bearing. there is no recall on the transmissions per nhtsb
