I have a 98 Accord 3.0 V-6 when i'm driving it acts as if i let off the gas. While i'm driving it never quits completely just almost goes to a idle. If i keep the gas pedal down it revs up and down however if i stomp it while it is doing this it takes off fine. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

welcome to the forum. check your egr vlv for cracks and carbon build up.

 

Thanks acmech52,the check engine light with egr code was coming on. I have replaced the egr & The intake has been removed and cleaned of carbon. The light no longer comes on but the veh. is still stalling.......im stumped?

 

check to see if you have proper fuel pressure at the rail, mass air sensor dirty ( just clean it ) air filter.
