My recharge hose does fit my car. Did they change because mine is few years old? I’m on the low side.

fittings same, since change over from 12 to 134 years back.

12 has small fittings, 134 has larger fittings.

Also, there is a high side and low side
The fittings are not the same to prevent one from attaching to the wrong side

Well I just figured it out. My car uses the new refrigerant 1234yf and boy that stuff is expensive!
