I own a 2018 Honda Ridgeline Sport. Bought it brand new from Freedom Honda in Colorado Springs, CO. Several months ago, on the advice of several of the Forum Members, I purchased a set of front hinges (genuine Honda parts) to replace the rear (shorter) hinges. I finally found some time and got in this morning to have them installed. Before taking it down to Freedom Honda I measured from the lower wider area of the truck door to the outside of the chaise - 23 inches. I just got a call that service is done with my truck and will update shortly.

Yes - they didnt open wide enough for my large dogs to enter with the seats in the down position. Also, gives me a much bigger opening from 23 inches to 28 inches.

 

that is a good difference to allow a large pup to enter. good thinking.
