Default 1984 Accord front shock bushes

Hi all, I'm in Australia and new to the forum, which looks a great resource. My issue is that the front shocks I've bought don't come with the associated bushes and bump stops to replace the originals, which are 'buggered' as we say down under. I've searched the web and have come up blank so was wondering if anyone knew of any NOS/aftermarket suppliers, or perhaps an alternative from another maker that may fit.

Essentially, I need the stepped seal that locates the upper shock rod in the seat (part no 51724692004). It is No 9 in the below diagram. The ones that came out are completely shagged.

All advice greatly appreciated.

Cheers mate, but I've had a positive update since I posted. Despite my local Honda dealer saying I had no hope, I contacted a friend who works at another dealership, and after consulting with their parts guru it seems the parts can be had from Honda in Japan, so I've placed an order and crossed my fingers.

that is good, if you don't mind would you like to share the dealership you used to help a few members on this forum that may have older--older hondas... Thank You

So after waiting two months I've just been told Honda Japan has replied 'order cancelled, out of stock'. So the hunt is back on. Any leads greatly appreciated.

Hey Mate! I am also from Australia (Coffs Harbour) I have the same identical issue with my 1981 Honda Accord. In fact by trying to search the part number I only found this thread
Please tell me you found the part because its the only thing I need to get this beautiful machine working...
Cheers! Elliot McAlister

Hey there, unfortunately I couldn't find any anywhere, so ended up getting a mate to turn me up some on his lathe.
