Default A/C Fan

2005 Accord EX - our top radiator hose popped off yesterday and in the process of replacing the hose and refilling with coolant, I noticed that the A/C fan is not running when we have the A/C on.

I checked to confirm that there is 14V DC going to the fan connector, so I'm assuming that we have a bad fan/motor.

Is there any other check that I should do before replacing the fan? With the water/coolant splashing all over that area, I'm wondering if something else may be the culprit.

I am always told to check power and ground.
If you have power going to the fan then check for ground to complete the circuit
If you have both and the fan does not work then it is usually the fan that is faulty
