Hey guys, now that it’s getting hotter down here in SC I’ve been using my air a lot. I’ve noticed over the past few weeks that my air isn’t quite as cool as I’d like it to be when the car is at idle. I’ve popped the hood while running and the condenser fans kick on as soon as I turn on the air and the compressor is also running. I’m not very experienced with a/c but it sounds like a low Freon problem, I’m sure others have had this experience and can help. I’ve also noticed a slight almost rattling noise at only idle with the air on as well. I’ve tried to pinpoint it but can’t seem to. When I rev the car up or am accelerating/driving it doesn’t do it. Any help is much appreciated!

I think that chatter you are hearing in pretty normal when the A/C puts a load on.
