Hi guys, got my maintenance done yesterday. I got my transmission fluid done (at a Honda dealership), and I found out after the fact that they did a flush instead of a drain and fill, however, they did still use DW-1. I was told that you're not supposed to flush Honda transmissions, so I'm really worried. I called Honda corporate and explained the situation and they said that an accidental flush should be fine given my low mileage, but I'm still sick to my stomach over it. I'm hoping you guys can put my mind at ease over this whole mishap. Is it possible that this one mistake will be okay? The car is a 2010 Accord LX with an automatic transmission and 73k miles.

 

If done correctly and i assume Honda dealership would know how to do it right
Then nothing to worry about. Just drive as normal.
