BF 50, 2004 mod wont start
Hi
I bought a project, a BF 50 2004 mod, slightly dismantled.
Have now assembled it, as good as I can, but it wont start.
Starter engages, fuel comes to the carburetor, and there is spark on the plugs.
It acts like it almost starts, but wont run on idle.
It has a lot of misfire, and blowback from the carburetor, almost as the ignition does not have the correct timing.
I noticed that the flywheel was missing a piece of sheet metal, witch is sitting outside of the permanent magnets.
There are 3 coils under the flywheel, 2 are connected together with wiring, and one has its own wiring.
I guess that one of these are giving power to the system, and also are charging the battery.
But is this also acting as a interruptor for timing of the ignition system, and the missing piece of metal is giving me this problem ?
In advance thank you very much for any answers
